education

Education

I have participated in educational programs of private higher education institutions that retrain mental health professionals or artists by teaching the method of Dramatherapy from 2005 until today.

Also, I collaborate with the University of Thessaly and the Graduate Department of Counseling Psychology as an external collaborator-trainer/Psychotherapist for the department students interested in the Dramatherapy method.

seminars

Seminar / Workshops

Seminars/workshops are held exclusively for professionals. Some of them are open to everyone.

Seminars are not just theoretical, but mainly experiential, focusing on the healing mediation process. You’ll experience practical techniques like Dramatherapy that can be efficiently used in therapy or education, empowering you with the skills you need.

They address mental health professionals, teachers, professionals dealing with communication or groups/teamwork, artists, etc.

Collaborative study sessions on a variety of subjects between professionals are available.

supervision

Supervision

Supervision is necessary for all colleagues in the first steps of their work as therapists, but also for more experienced therapists who may struggle with some cases.
Supervision is the process where the therapist can better understand what is happening in the “here and now” of the therapeutic process, reflecting on his therapeutic relationship and the material that comes to him from the patient.

There is much that comes from the unconscious region of both the therapist and the client that interferes with the healing process. These are essential for the therapist to understand in order to be more effective in providing therapeutic services.

When the therapist bases his method mainly on the use of art or other mediation, supervision is a beneficial process to understand the effectiveness of his means and design an effective strategy for the therapeutic goals, appropriate for specific populations and their characteristics.

New therapists engage with techniques based on Dramatherapy and Psychodynamic theoretic background.

Supervision can be done from once a week to once a month, depending on the therapist’s needs, in person or online.

External supervision is also undertaken by working teams at private mental health centres and other organisations.
